Facebook. MySpace. Friendster. Twitter. YouTube. Just to name a few of media’s biggest contributors. A survey was done recently by a group of young students who went around asking teenagers of the ages 13 to 17 on their hobbies. Approximately 78% of them answered surfing the Internet as a hobby. It may be good and it may be bad. Good in the sense that children are learning and exploring new found knowledge in the Internet. Bad when we do not know that one click can change a person’s life. It is what we call the effect of Mass Media. The media is what some may say, the best thing that has ever happened to man kind. It varies from so many kinds like such the Internet, newspapers, radio and the television. The mass media has successfully taken over the place of a dog to be mans best friend. But imagine. How would our lives be like with none at all? If the media were to disappear all of a sudden, would it bring goodness or would it make our current life crash.

Since Buddha, Jesus, the prophet Muhammad and religion in whole came to this world, it has never been better. Religion stepped into the lives of many changing them for the better and putting them on a right path. Other than that, religion helps us understand the importance of living our life to the fullest and still maintaining a disciplined lifestyle. “Thank God for religion.” However if there is religion, what would explain the stigma against races? What would explain the growing number of teenage pregnancies? The number of dilemmas in our world is increasing day by day and in order for us to solve this complex equation, we have to go down into the roots that cause this problem. (No offence to those who love mathematics)

To all who are reading this article, do you ever judge people by what they wear? If yes, why? Yes, you’ve guessed it, the media. Shows like “Fashion Police” hosted by the one and only big mouth, Joan Rivers. Her criticism over other peoples clothing has teenagers exemplifying her. Teens are isolating other teens who are fashion disabled due to financial problems or just the lack of style. What will this create people? A community with a strong bond? NO. Instead, it creates a township of people torn apart by materialistic mindsets. Can you believe that this is all because of one woman’s criticism on the TV? I am not only talking about Joan Rivers as there are many more celebrities like Janice Dickinson and modeling shows like America’s Next Top Model where they take woman who are only in the size 2. This is outrageous and this just makes the number of anorexic and bulimic diseases increase amongst young women. Do we need this? Seriously, do we?

Wikileaks. Currently, the most controversial website in the world. Not that anyone is keeping track. WikiLeaks is an international non-profit organization that publishes submissions of private, secret, and classified media from anonymous news sources and news leaks. Its website, launched in 2006 under The Sunshine Press organization, claimed a database of more than 1.2 million documents within a year of its launch. WikiLeaks describes its founders as a mix of Chinese dissidents, journalists, mathematicians, and start-up company technologists from the United States, Taiwan, Europe, Australia, and South Africa. Julian Assange, an Australian Internet activist, is generally described as its director. Ladies and gentlemen if you want to cause global instability, do what he did. Create a webpage like his and next time, decline interviews like him.

I can go on and on about the Mess the media is making. However, without it we would be stranded. Mark Zuckerberg’s creation of Facebook has all of us connected. What would we do to overcome current problems? Quoting John Lennon, “ All you need is Love”. The Love I’m talking about isn’t the passionate love some of you are thinking of but the love for all things. If we love ourselves, others and also love what we do, we can once again make the world a better place. And now quoting the late Michael Jackson, if you’re in a fight, “Beat it”. If you’re insulted by what people say, its “human nature”. Lastly, if you want to correct something, start with the “Man in the mirror”.

it was a cold evening, and as i stood at the lobby, i watched as a car drove in. i entered the car and we all went to a place(God knows where).as we reached our destination, we climbed a flight of stairs to a room...ONE HELL OF A ROOM...as i entered, a man asked us to take off our shoes and then be seated....and so we all did. at the corner of the room...A COMPLETE DRUMSET!!!! GOSH....but WTH....its a piano recital...even better...LIM's one...and so we sat...sat in the first row...me and nat, anticipating lim's arrival...then she came....and played that piano till it nearly broke....well it didnt but her playing was heavenly....seriously speaking....i was brought to another dimension like in alice in wonderland...i fell into a hole of music and ended up in another world....THerefore, forget about drugs or alcohol or those unknown crap tat makes u go high....(except for cough syrup)go n listen to lim playin n u shall c for yourselves....n theres one problem.....the songs will be going on in your head forever....

Idiot smokers exhaling toxic gasses...Why must the innocent ones suffer your smoke?

the poor small children running around and inhaling toxic gasses from you smokers...

As you all know, 2nd hand smoke is more harmful people...

And the stupid politicians and developers who are not looking blindly looking nowhere to mother natures cries... pollution is increasing and the 2010 mindset in some people are also increasing...

I am just sick of walking in the streets coz of the smokers, the cars with no exhaust filters and people who throw rubbish on the poor green grass...
That was my experience while i was walking through BANDAR PUTERI....

please people...you idiot people..please have that perspective...that green perspective so that tomorrow can be a better day for us and for our generations
change for the better people....

GOOD OLD taiping....

Growing up in Taiping was more than just fun..i used to live on a hill...and every evening i would cycle down the roads with my brother through the cool fresh air...after a year coming back to my good hometown..it hasn't changed a bit....well a few shopping centers here and there but the people are the same....

As yall know, taiping is the coolest place in MAS....metaphorically and literally speaking....so a hike up bukit larut wont harm that much...the land rover ride up the hill through narrow and windy roads....WAS certainly worth the ride
the cool wind just whistling in my ear was deafening and the breeze that you can never get in Puchong!!the greenery and nature just calms the mind and the soul...

visiting ma old school and going to classic taiping restaurants are just wonderfull
especially the freakishly awesome CENDOL!!!and many others...

and not forgetting another town not far from taiping...my beloved BAGAN SERAI~

all these memories just gives me a kick start for a new and superb 2010.....

as i entered my bathroom...u know the routine...take of clothes and have my bath...as i was showering i saw a spider on the ceiling...i...as a macho guy *CHEH*..did not scream...yet i whistled...i whistled the axel F song....too my surprise...that dumb ass spider started dancing....i couldn't believe my eyes.....it shook its small skinny legs and i boogied with it....we danced to many songs like...thriller...billie jean...sexy chick....and hotel room service....then i high fived that animal...took a tissue..grabbed it and flushed it down my toilet...i sad ending...

i was quietly walking towards my car...until...i heard voices....it gave me the heebe jeeebes....i looked around but no one was there....so i entered my car.....tats when i knew it was a bad idea to enter the car.....as i drove away from, i felt an itch..first my arm, then my head, then my whole body....and i knew this wasn't any normal itch..as i turned my head....i froze.

i was in a stand still as i looked into the eyes of my ex-girlfriend, who died last night in my arms.
she was dripping....IN BLOOD!!! i jerked to a stop..and looked her right in her eyes...

"What the hell are you doing in my car. Your blood is all over. Now i need new seats. DAMN!"
Then she said, "Hey!Shut Up old man. Look, you need to help me. I have trouble going to the light."
"HAHA...Someones afraid of the dark!".
She hit me on the arm and said "Hey.Its darker than you think buster. In order for you to help me, you need to die as well. The same way i died. So what do u say?"
I gave her the look..of idiocracy.

"What..i dont mind dying. But not the same way as you. You got stabbed twenty seven times and a cat peed on your nose. Because of this i am dumping you.PERIOD!"

Then i felt a thwack right at the back of my head.

When i woke up i smelled cat pee..Dont ask how i could i dentify..Some secrets are not to be told.
Then i saw exactly 27 stab marks on my manly chest. DAMN!! She killed me. Yet the both of us were still in the car smelling like shit..i mean pee...how cruel life can be.
